How to Read Configurations

Posted on , in Information

Trying to make a purchase? Don’t understand what the difference is between a B1213M1-L or A1017RM-XL? It can be quite confusing at first if you are a beginner or even coming from a different tattoo supply company. We’ll break it down for you! Here’s how to understand T-Tech Tattoo Device’s tattooing needle cartridges.

The letter at the beginning of the configuration stands for the generation. Here at T-Tech we offer 3 types of cartridges; Generation C, Generation A and Generation B. Each generation has its own perks. Generation C uses a rubber band mechanism that results in less tension. Generation A has a patented capillary design that allows for better ink flow and a patented stabilizing membrane to prevent back flow of ink. Generation B has a similar look and feel as Gen C but also includes a patented stabilizing membrane. To learn more about each generation and which one is right for you please visit our other blog by clicking here. https://ttechtattoo.com/product-category/cartridges/

The number after the letter indicates the diameter of the needle. We offer 08 (0.25mm), 10 (0.30mm) and 12 (0.35mm) diameter needles.

After the diameter the number represents the amount of needles. We have a wide range for you to try!

The next letters tell you what type of cartridge it is, RL Round Liner, M1 mag. The – L (3.5mm) or -XL (6mm) expresses the taper.

If you have any issues or still struggle with understanding what configuration you are looking for please don’t hesitate to email us at support@ttechtattoo.com. We are open weekdays 9am – 5pm EST and someone on our team will be happy to assist you.
